Recommendations how to configure SWTT.

Usually, you work on one or more active projects and have a rest/fun during the rest of time at the computer. That is why configuring SWTT comes down to creating these active projects and adding to them the applications that, once opened, make SWTT automatically activate the corresponding project. You should also use the "Other Apps" project to add the applications that, once opened, inform SWTT that you are already distracted from work.

So, let's start:

1. Open the main window of SWTT.
2. Create active projects Porject1 and Project2 by pressing Ctrl+U.
3. Start the applications that you spend most time in while working on Project1.
4. Select Project1 in SWTT and click the "+" button near "Activate the project when the following apps are active", add the applications that, once started, inform SWTT that you are working on Project1.
5. If you use one and the same program in both projects, but you open different documents in it, specify also that the name of the document should be present in the caption on the title bar of this program (the "Caption...should contain the string" option). If you work with a lot of small files, it is worth giving them names starting with, for example, "prj1_". Then you will be able to specify in SWTT that you are working on Project1 if you open a file with a name starting with "prj1_" in CorelDraw. And that you are working on Project2 if its name starts with "prj2_".
6. Configure project2 in a similar way.
7. Now open the Other Apps project and add the applications you never use in your work to "Activate the project when the following apps are active". For example, Picasa, Minesweeper and Internet Explorer with opened bash.org.
8. That's all! Close the main window of SWTT and start working. You will hear a sound signal when the project is automatically switched.

Note that by default, if you do not work with the applications added to "Activate the project when the following apps are active" for more than 20 minutes, the project will be automatically switched to "Other apps" even if you do not open Minesweeper, etc. If you want to prevent it, disable the corresponding option at the bottom of the page with the project properties.
